While the street was one thing, saw the later event on the bridge with unarmed police confronting the demonstrators to keep access to their building open. Then I compared that to the reaction of the police in Ferguson. China DE-escalated their levels, while here we quickly ESCALATED the force, and so far the Chinese haven’t used any MRAPs in Hong Kong. Hopefully they won’t.
