Congrats VistaBill! I enjoyed the Annie crossover so much, but looking forward to a new DICK TRACY adventure!

Coffee is being recruited against his will. That’s what you get sometimes for delivering letters. Seems like we have two Vista Bills on this page (one deceased).

Wait a minute! I’m very alive! Less than two weeks to my 80th birthday!

Ok, Vitamin’s got to do something about his bulging eyes! Creepy! Congratulations VistaBill. I heard a rumor that the next story will have Tracy teaming up with Scooby Doo to free StillDaMan! from his unjust exile in Gasoline Alley!

Old Vitamin still has a little spark left when stimulated by a kid’s need! Coffee will cooperate, willingly or not!And though the strip’s Vista Bill has taken the Long Ride, “our” Vista Bill is less than two weeks from his 80th birthday—something to celebrate!

Ok, can someone please explain these characters to the (relative) DT newbies and muggles amongst us?

I’m not quite following y’all. I just reread the story where Sam was in the water tank in a diving suit, and the only person who collapsed was Phishface when the dog attacked him.

Thanks guys for making my day an especially bright one!… and thanks to Mike, Joe, and Shelley for allowing me to appear in the DT comic strip! My 80th birthday is the 27th. Where have the years gone! I have a lot to be thankful for… my good health, my friends on GoComics and elsewhere, a wonderful family including three beautiful granddaughters and a spirited one and a half year old great grandson, and so much more!

In a world full of change for the worst, VB remains a wonderful constant. Long may you ride, friend Bill!

How come Annie is still ten years old?

Wait a minute! Hold on! I’m slow on the uptake here, but y’all mean to tell me that Mike and Joe named their character Vista Bill after our commentator friend, Vista Bill? I didn’t realize! I thought it was the other way around! And now Team Tracy has bumped that character off!?

The more I read and think about Vista Bill’s fate, I feel certain that Mike and Joe had intended the comment Vitamin made meant that I have retired, not died!

Regarding “Vista Bill”. I had been using that nickname for several years prior to my “joining” GoComics. I joined GoComics in August 2009. My first appearance in DT was July 1, 2011 and my second appearance was on August 21-23, 2012. And now, I’m back. Actually I selected the name Vista Bill from my love of computers and Vista operating system. Mike and Joe depict VB as a “cowboy” as do most others.

MPH let you do that??? (Good for both of you!)
