Hmm, when I was a kid, we had a standard poodle that ate, basically, 120 stitches in one, 35 in the other, two burglars. Not a good idea to mess with standards!!

Poodles are, after all, hunting dogs.

Standard breed poodles are very good police dogs. Nick, are you suggesting an upgrade from what the Secret Service is currently using?

Yes, standard poodles have gotten a bad rap. I’ve had two. We often come home to notes from FedEx that they couldn’t deliver a package because our poodle wouldn’t let them approach the house. Completely different personality from a lab, who would have made friends with the delivery man and probably with burglars. They have a loud bark and huge teeth, too.

It has been noted that Poodles are more lethal than German Shepherds. Wouldn’t mind having a standard, they are cool dogs.

What a stupid cheap simplistic metaphor!
