Sharks are a lot more endangered by people, than vice-versa.

And people (and sharks) are a lot more endangered by climate change than by ISIS. In fact, ISIS will end up killing more Americans by being a distraction from the real problems facing the world than they will by direct attacks.

Just a thought, the constant statement of ISIS, instead of ISIL, as in “Levant” seems to avoid the issue that the broader geographic accuracy also includes “Palestine” and modern Israel. Driving out invaders does seem to be their objective; even if they are a tad nuts, perhaps they have reason?

Appears there are many groups in the Middle East who don’t want an American military presence occupying their country, and whom they suspect have designs on controlling their oil resources. We brand them “terrorists,” but they consider themselves patriots. If Americans dealt for those resources through ordinary commerce rather than invasion, what would be the down-side? I ask, what would the reaction of Americans be if a Muslim (or any) country invaded North Dakota and attempted to take control of the Bakken oil fields?

“…….Obama withdrew all troops from Iraq, so we weren’t “occupying their country”…..”.They probably find those fighter jets, laser and satellite guided bombs, Predator drones, and Hellfire missiles somewhat annoying, particularly when they kill innocent civilians. You’re dreaming if you think the well-armed and organized resistance fighters are nomads with no identifiable country to fight for. The “nomads” made short work of the government forces who thought it more prudent to join them than fight them.
