Frazz by Jef Mallett for November 09, 2014
Transcript:
Frazz: You have a plan. Caulfield: I have a plan. Caulfield: So I got my book report done. Frazz: You don't appear to be bubbling over with pride. Caulfield: I was not on my game. Oh well. I have to turn it in, but she can't grade it if she doesn't read it. See? I pasted it below some stranger's political rant. Nobody reads those. Thus nobody read beyond them. Frazz: On social media- not so sure about on notebook paper. Caulfield: That sounds just like something a wacko whig would say.

I have a hard time with figuring out the order to read the panels with Frazz sometimes. Today was one of those days.

A kid that age that knows what a Whig is, isn’t entirely stupid.

Sometimes Jef tries too hard! This is one of those times.

JM does one of the best of the bestToday has the best overall issue of comics for a long, long time. At least of my A list selections. and the comments? even the rants are somewhat rational; acknowledged as opinions. responses are polite.Maybe it’s because I got up at 4 AM and read them. Whigs are more centrist so I don’t get the intent of the last panel…

Too bad nobody will read my comment since it is after all the political rants…..that nobody reads.

I loved this strip – and I totally do that!
It still baffles me why people keep reading a comic book they don’t enjoy. Professional e-comic critics, I guess! (it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it).

Uh, the cartoon brought up the subject, however slightly.

I made a direct, clear comment. What part of my comment don’t you understand?

Points for effort, but this strip’s layout is awfully hard to read. Is the oval panel supposed to be panel 3, panel 4 or panel 5?

Night-Gaunt49: When the subject is politics, then politics are a proper subject. However, stick to the politics of the cartoon and resist the urge to bring in something else.

And yet twice elected was a community organizer. Rants are the stock and trade of community organizers. It’s true no one reads them, apparently no one listens either.
