    Pedantic correction: the torpedo did not hit the Trinidad in the North Atlantic. This occurred in the Barents Sea (an area of the Arctic Ocean) as convoy PQ-13 headed for Murmansk in the Soviet Union.

    My dog is good at basic arithmetic. If I put three biscuits in my pocket, but only give her two, she can solve for the missing biscuit. She has no trouble with pi, either.
