This actually happened to my aunt! When she was little, she was jumping up and down on her bed with a Q-tip in her ear (the logic of kids) and she slipped and fell on her side. The Q-tip punctured her eardrum, and … well, it was unpleasant. Deep Dark Fears are very real!
