Bush/Cheney/Bremer threw out all the Baathists and Sunni, the entire military, and police, rather than asking, or finding out who the “good guys” might have been in 2003, creating an army that would become ISIL and the dozens of other splinter groups out there (hint: it ain’t just Al Qaeda and ISIL), who are still ticked off that we screwed ’em.
