These modern AC writers have once again proven that they don’t understand the character and portray him only as a drunk, Reg’s Andy was a smart alec , fighting, sarcastic, somewhat moralistic (He made up his OWN morals, but….) philosopher, who had a belief in justice (Again, of his own making). I truly hope they are given the boot when the next contract time comes around, I love AC and HATE seeing this watered down version!

On the other hand, I’m glad to see that the odd bit of the Geordie accent has returned to the strip… although, I’d like to see more of it.

Paris is a long way from Santa Fe, honey ! ….But I get the idea. The pic looks just like what you see in the southwest here; rolling dunes and sometimes the mountains in the distance. I wonder if people are “livin’it up at the Hotel Santa Fe” ? -I think I’ll make a vodka and tomato drink spiced with hot pepper and call it “Fire Engine Paint”, and then you could say you drank “fire engine paint” ! -I notice a slackening of net-ability some days too. It rained yesterday afternoon for a spell and very early before sunup. last night the lastfm radio wouldn’t engage and stayed that way ’til morning. I was able to watch some Doctor Who online though. In the past my worst connection would come mainly at fall/winter and winter/spring season changeover. -The song just finished. Remember that one from back inna day too ! -Monday is overcast and is threatening to rain again. Wish You Were Here ! -If Tuesday is Dry, take a dip in the canal !_____________________________________________________

Yep I know. I think it’s in Spain. I was certainly living it up in “Hotel Santa Fe” I wouldn’t mind going again but I’m putting my life together now and I would need a new passport. -I even brought home a bar of soap with Mickey Mouse on. It says on the box “Everybody neat and pretty? Then on with the show!” It smells lovely, I haven’t used it yet and I don’t think I want to. I just want to keep it. -I doubt even you would be as idiotic enough to do that…. Right? LOL.-Sorry to hear about your internet connection troubles. I bet it would be worse with dial up. As I mentioned before, I can’t think of anybody who has that now. I remember when I got first laptop at Age 11 and I got AOL Broadband which my cousin had at the time. He put it on for me. The dial up was so noisy when the phone wasn’t connected. I no longer have AOL Broadband… Just email.-I wish I was there as well! Some people have all the luck.-It has been quite hot today. I successfully donated my 9th pint of blood today which was dedicated to our amazing Linda. Unfortunately, I did not beat my record of 4 minutes, 8 seconds. This time I took 4 minutes, 24 seconds so I was 16 seconds slower but never mind!

Only one donation to go before I reach a ‘Bronze’ and get a pretty little badge!

I want to know who paid for all that beer. Certainly not our mate Andy. But I’m also reminded of the aphorism, “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.”

LOL! Thank you for noticing my comment but it’s not original. I saw another commenter saying that a few strips ago. I checked today to see if anybody else was going to say “I had an inkling…” etc but no one did.
