I’ve found that putting a sheet of crumpled-up newspaper in my sweaty shoes at the end of the day makes them dry by morning. The paper draws moisture out of the shoe’s lining.(Another helpful hint from Big Bri.)
@Dry, Funny!Thanks again everyone (especially anyone I missed thanking yesterday).. My shock today was too much (just did a new profile on another site and still hope I won’t need it).
Yesterday was the best Birthday I can remember with Skypes from my kids, the Tiki party, all the FB wishes from my friends and distant relatives, lovely dinner and dancing and a lot more . . . ending with a lovely nightcap around 1AM.
I think that Nettie is sadistically saturating Nelson’s shoes because she knows that it will cause Nelson to go berserk.That’s my theory, anyway.Good Night…

Nothing more annoying than the squish, squish sound of walking in water soaked shoes.Felt that way in Nam a lot. Took forever to get my feet dry.

Red…. that squirt gun does look a tiny bit like a weird drill….
And Madame Beviek just got new glasses…we’re not sure they’re quite right.
She can see into the future, of course…and apparently something 2000 miles away is sharp as tacks.
But on the comics page…. not so much.
