Why is it that people think that a retired person would want to continue doing something they had to do to make a living.

Regarding my comment yesterday about the strip ending, I found this in Wikipedia:Author(s)Brian BassetCurrent status / schedule EndingLaunch date2000End date November 2014.Wiki is not perfect and errors are not unusual; however, this is pretty significant. Is it possible this is a prank? I was having a conversation with a friend a few days ago, and knowing I am a GoComics fan, he mentioned this to me in passing. I did not question his source; however, I did look it up using Wikipedia and the above info is what I found. I will be seeing him again this weekend, so I will ask him where he got the information..I, along with many others, hope this is an error…

Maybe that is just the contract end date and will be picked up? Just a thought.

Well, if Never is right, I for one am up for 14 years of "re-runs’ most of which I would never have seen. I’d like Red ‘n’ Rover’s world to stay with us a VERY long time!

I don’t think I would have gone to that barber. Even figuring 50 weeks a year and six day every week for 50 years, that would be about 65 heads a day, every day. maybe he was military! still that is a lot of heads.

I can assure everyone that Red and Rover is not going anywhere anytime soon. Someone who has left false and misleading information on others wiki pages has done so to Red and Rover’s.

Just checked the Wiki – status says “Running” – no date mentioned as ending. Because Wikipedia is “Crowd-sourced”, it is subject to “Trolling” – until caught by editors or other contributors. Thanks for the assurance, Brian, and your wonderful strip !
