I hear Brian Bassett is ending Red and Rover in November. I love this strip, and especially the current arc. If this is true, I am sure it will end well for the boy and his wonderful dog!

I am also loving this arc. I had a friend once who would take her dogs to nursing homes and do this. It is a great service!

I reviewed the comments for today – and am stunned to have read that this adventure could be coming to an end. I treasure the tenderness and love between Red & Rover…and of course the brilliant art of Brian Basset. I thank you for each and every frame ever printed. Many of the strips on Gocomics.com have ended and are in their second, third and fourth repeats. Regrettably, much of the new stuff (though certainly not all) is sub par. If R & R does end, I hope they’ll go into repeats too. There’s always something you missed the first time around.
