    If you have been paying any attention at all (doubtful) to the news, you would realize that the media have been castigating these sports (not celebrity entertainment) figures all along!

    It’s the NFL management, not the media, that’s been cutting football players slack.

    I’m sure I’m a minority of one, and I’ll probably get flamed for this, but why should an act, committed outside a job, affect the job? If a crime is committed, charge him, put him on trial, and give legal consequences if found guilty. Why should conduct outside a job in any way affect the job itself? Oh, I know these are public figures, many cases over-paid, but still they should be treated the same as anyone else. Would YOU be suspended for x number of weeks from your job if you got a DUI, possession, or a domestic abuse charge?
