Cruelty to snails. boo

I stopped salting snails the day I realized how cruel it is. Kid’s have no concept of Good and Evil, beyond what effects them, until they are taught. That’s the major job of parenting IMO, to give children control until they learn self-control.

I’m no environmentalist, but this is just cruel. How hard would it be for the kids to sweep up the snails and move them out of harm’s way before starting their game?

I suspect if we are concerned about cruelty to snails, are we also going to avoid stepping on ants or swatting flies? Let’s not destroy those busy mosquitos while were at it!: >)
