If the knee didn’t hurt THAT badly, maybe the probability would be only 30 pct.

In my neighborhood 50% chance of rain usually meant 50 out of 100% of a downpour.

With me, the right knee hurt for rain, and the left for snow. Now I have fibromyalgia and every thing hurts all the time….making the both useless and weather predictors.

I have a theory about The Weather Channel. If they say 40% or lower of precipitation, there will be none. If they say 60% or higher, there will be some. If they say 50%, they don’t have a clue. I’ve never been wrong. :)

When the say 20% chance of rain, does that mean there is a 80% chance it won’t rain…

Isn’t the weather pretty much a 50/50 proposition most of the time?

Here in the US Southwest, our local weather guys do pretty good out to about a week or so. After that, they admit the computer models get a bit flaky.

Change of barometric pressure makes the knees ache. But the nose - the nose can smell snow.
