The key element is getting a coalition to do the job, not the U.S. acting independently. Also, targeted response is saner than targeting anything that moves like we did essentially since 1991.
What’s so funny here? The Pres says “WE”. Do you think he devised every step by himself? (George W. had 17 speechwriters on his staff. Anyone knows how many Obama has?)
I hope that our military action is more comprehensive and meaningful than a few random bombings of doubtful effect, such as we carried out against Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Sudan in 1998. Time will tell.
