I wouldn’t call a pumpkin that size edible “food”, they can be carved with an instrument I wouldn’t call a knife, and you can light them up with an LED lamp so no fire involved. Hypocrisy avoided.

Grandma said all that so she would have the fun of carving the pumpkin. She really got their gourd.

Better effects with a candle pulsating glow,something you just never see anymore. People once put lit candles on Christmas trees, now that’s scary!
