Well then – this clearly proves that climate change is a crock. Raining where you are Chip? Must mean it raining all over the world too.

“And the best way to calculate the volume of ice is by measuring its surface area. "

Thank you for pointing this out. I hadn’t considered volume vs. surface area.

Antarctic is also thinning despite “area”, and volumes are down with the SEA ice. The sheets covering dry land are also thinning, but the Arctic is a little short on land mass. Overlooked is the impact of changing salinity and chemical composition of sea water as well, it affects that item of ice formation, and volume. “Deniers” are playing a form of Russian roulette, with baseball bats.

Nothing has discredited the conservative movement more in my eyes than its failure to confront climate change.

Nothing has discredited the liberal movement more than it wanting to impose its views on the rest of us. It thought it finally had the perfect situation to impose its socialist views on everyone with its chicken little cries of “global warming”.

Shanbo: michael is sarcastic, the folks who are serious about their facts from Snerdly and Rush are the ones with real problems, and lots of lumps on their heads, self-inflicted.

No, you have to be smart enough to know the difference between sea ice and the polar ice cap. You also have to not be totally dedicated to purposely not understand science.
