Way to broadcast your weakness, Obama. No idea how to deal with terrorism. But you CAN lay out a 700 page document on how to safely roast marshmallows, complete with better ways to make a s’more using fruit.

Republican/Fox “news” viewers strategy is that if we all just hate Obama enough, ISIS will go away.

Get McCain on the job and threaten invasion then send a few hundred thousand American troops over there to get killed and cough up another trillion dollars to pay for the whole thing. That ought to be enough leadership for anyone.

If the Rethuglicans were true patriotic Americans, they would cease their constant barage of criticism and present thoughtful, constructive assistance to AID the president.

Obama wants some thought and planning to occur before developing a strategy. What a concept! The Decider never needed or was able to do that. Just start your wars and let the next guy deal with the consequences. RWNJs seem to have similar thinking abilities.

How many crazy “militias” do we have in the U.S. now? Maybe we should worry more about them, than those over 6,000 miles away??

’ “Hundred of thousands to get killed”We haven’t had as many casualties since 2001 as the allies had on D Day at Normandy in 1944. ’Right, because the majority of casualties from Iraq II were just collateral damage.10 years in Iraq brought a Shiite government that hates us & the Sunni ISIS, who hate us even more. Just think how much we can achieve with another 10 years.Of course, the Ottomans held the region for four centuries & never won over the locals.

Using the URL supplied by PianoGuy24 (who I must compliment for actually supplying a link) I find the article states: “The U.S. Forest Service on Friday published a nearly 700-word article on how to safely roast marshmallows, all in preparation for Saturday, which is National Roasted Marshmallow Day.”

You on the other hand, base your assumption that the article was trivial to a great extent upon your belief that the article was not just 700 words long, but 700 pages long! There is a truly vast difference between “WORDS” and “PAGES”!!

Now, usually I might not agree with your posts, but they are also usually well written and researched and are therefore well respected by myself. I am sorry, but in this particular case it is indeed yourself that does not get the point, and not myself. But Have A Very Good Day Anyway!!

“The Ottomans treated them like the Romans did before. Allowed to keep their individuality as long as fidelity to the empire.”You forgot to add the Brits & Byzantines. The Romans & Ottomans ruled with overwhelming force where their interests were critical. Syria & Palestine/Israel were held close for economic reasons. For the Byzantines/Ottomans, there were religious ones as well.Yet, rebellions were frequent & bloody. Jews, Palestinians (cough, cough, I mean Philistines) Arabs… no one likes being ruled by foreigners.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bar_Kokhba_revolthttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julianus_ben_Sabarhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peasants’_Revolt_of_1834_(Palestine)The desert tribesmen ancestors of ISIS were not worth the trouble of serious military involvement for the Old World Empires. They don’t pose a military threat to us, either. Bush managed to convince people that our army could fight terrorism. That’s the stupidest way to fight terrorists possible.
