Wouldn’t Rosa be answering in Spanish? “Clinica Fabuloso. ¿Cómo puedo ayudarle?”

In the 70s, I had a downstairs neighbor who was sent to Houston from Venezuela to learn heart surgery so citizens of his country wouldn’t have to come to the U.S. for treatment.Now the flow is in the opposite direction because you can get quality work for a cheaper price.

“Clinica Fabuloso”?The name didn’t prompt some questions from Rosa as to her uncle’s work?

Is Gunther Amish??

We can all dream. And then Reality kicks us in the butt….

So Gunther will be staying in Peru alone and Rosa will be running off to join the peace corp?

“The Dream”? Whose dream? (Just Rosa’s, I fear.)

And not to brag, but I kind of called this a few days ago when I said with her seven languages, Rosa would be an unbeatable telemarketer for the clinic. :)

Bummer. I’d rather have seen them in a rural clinic where they could really do some good.

The biggest change is going to be Rosa’s view of Gunther, and if he can avoid being designated as the cause of her disappointment.

If he’d been a “real man” he would have talked her out of it?

We know we’re not in the U.S. anymore if Gunther is accessing random patients’ medical records… ;)

I still can’t believe that Rosa had no idea what kind of a clinic that her uncle worked for. And wouldn’t her parents know?

Actually, you can. The patient list is separate from the information for each patient. The patient list assigns a number to that patient, and in the data base for the procedures, the patient is identified only by that number. You would have to go through quite a bit of convolution to tie one up to another outside the parameters of the program.

When has Rosa been logical?

“Look at all the celebs they’ve done here. Do you think this place should keep a list of all the celebrities they’ve had sex with while the celebrities were under anesthetic.”

I’m surprised no one else has brought this up. Are we now going to have two Luann strips at least for a while? One in the states and one with Rosa and Gunther? I was quite surprised to see that the “bonus material” had changed from “What will happen to TJ” to this.

Reality bites…at least for one of them… :)
