Then all Obama has to DO is put them down and start leading…for once.

So why is it that the conservatives think Obama should be sitting at his desk 24/7, and why didn’t they think that for W? As far as foreign policy goes, it’s the president’s job to make decisions. Do they think he can only make decisions from behind a desk?

Granted there have been different notes over the past five years, but every time an Obama criticism appears, the Republicans become “Johnny One Note” for weeks, months or even longer, and the note is usually totally irrelevant, and off-key, or commonly, totally false.

More like I take my job more seriously than Obama does.

I’m afraid I don’t catch the logical inconsistency. Presidents Clinton, Reagan, and both Bushes did give much greater attention to foreign policy than it appears that President Obama has done. I did not begrudge any of these Presidents their vacation time because I knew that they found time to keep engaged even while on vacation; President Obama, on the other hand, has seemed increasingly disengaged from events throughout his term in office.-As for Congress, it is not responsible for foreign policy. We can argue whether they have too many recesses (I would prefer that they spend more time reviewing administrative decisions) but it’s really apples and oranges to compare Legislative recesses with Presidential absences from the Oval Office.
