It wasn’t his request for the DA to resign, it was his abuse of power in zeroing out the budget of the Office of Public Integrity who was in the process of investigating his other shenanigans.
Most of you do know, deep, down, where your moral compass and common sense used to be, that this is nothing more than a diversion tactic so you don’t run to the mirror screaming " how did I vote for this failure of a community organizer?" Valium would probably work better. Finding common sense would result in a cure.
“Obama threatens a veto its ok…”There is a massive difference between saying “I’m going to veto this spending bill because I disagree with it” and “I’m going to veto this spending bill unless the elected official in charge of that department resigns.”
A fair enough assessment.Still…as you’ve pointed out, the truth ain’t pretty. And the truth, as I see it anyway, is whether or not he’s convicted, this episode pretty much knocks Perry out of the presidential race. Not that I consider it that a much of a big deal, mind; I always believed it was only a matter of time before Governor Perry opened his mouth and blew himself out of the running anyway.Though even he’d be hard pressed to do it in as spectacular style as ex-Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana. ( And to think I used to be IMPRESSED by that guy. )
ok let’s take a look at what happened here. Her acts indangered killing others and attacked police officers doing their jobs as seen on many video tapes. His actions indangered her policial power. You can deside which is worse, I say the violent drunk driver is the real criminal.

One former Texas governor in the WH per century exceeds the acceptable quota.
