Nick Anderson by Nick Anderson and signed by Nick Anderson…..can we say “ego problem” ? You know what’s funny, Hamas has not killed 800 children, or 80, or even 8. The Jews really learned a lot from the Germans in the nineteen forties.

Higgins, Israel has not used 800 children as human sheilds, or 80, or even 8. You know what’s sad? That you’ve swallowed the the lies from the media for Hamas hook, line, and sinker. The Libs have learned a lot by playing on the emotionality of people to muddy up their thinking in seeing the facts.

Pretty much all the political cartoons here are labelled with the cartoonist’s name.

They killed 3 Israel teenagers that started this conflict.

Civilians die when they are used as human shields.

“They killed 3 Israel teenagers that started this conflict. Civilians die when they are used as human shields.”

No, this conflict started when the UN divided Palestine between the Jews and the Arabs. The Arabs, who controlled nearly all of Palestine lost half of their land to the Jews. The Zionists immediately set about removing the Arabs from the land given to the newly formed Israel, then they set about taking the rest of Palestine in the name of Israel. Both sides have played a key role in the continuation of violence, and the extremists on both sides have a vested interest in perpetuating the hostiles.

“The fascist Tea Party characters are experts at playing on the emotionality of people to muddy up their thinking in seeing the facts.”

With a few corrections, that is.

I’ll call your claim about the (ha!) UN creating Israel and raise you the fact that Israel existed first several several millennia ago.

Wow…just…wow. Your ignorance and support for Hamas’ right to keep up this stupidity knows no bounds. I bet you also think the cop had no right to defend himself after Michael Brown went after his gun, smashed his eye socket and started rushing him to beat up on him more.

As a matter of fact so long as there was no risk of death I would argue that there was no right to kill in self defense. I happen to believe that life has some value beyond petty vengeance.

Likewise rather unfortunately in Gaza both sides are commiting war crimes. However both sides are also unfortunately gaining popularity as a result. The Likud and Hamas both make home gains as a result of the inflicted harm.

Ultimately it is matters of pride that curse man.

Oddly enough they smuggle in rockets and not food, clothing, medicine… Odd indeed.

and here’s another surprise: There were crazies that wanted to get Israel in 1948. And the STILL consider themselves refugees.

Where are all the posters that talk about personal responsibility? After over 60 years of pitying themselves, why haven’t they gotten past that? And what of their Arab brethren in Jordan (the homeland for Palestinians which was created at the same time as Israel)? Or Saudi Arabia, Yemen, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar….looks like the Israelis are not the only people who have no sympathy for the people in Gaza.

    -
Exactly. Hamas has repeatedly broken its ceasefires to invite further violence. If it were to stop its attacks then Palestinian children would be safe – but the safety of Palestinian children is less important to Hamas than the prospect of killing Jews.

Corporatism and socialism are normally seen as opposites. The only person who agrees with you is Mussolini.
    .
Mussolini said (see below) that Corporatism was a type of socialism—-the only feasible socialism—-“true socialism”, as opposed to the common internationalist/Marxist variety. The National Socialists said the same thing, and they explicated in great detail upon what they meant by “true socialism”, and in what sense National Socialism was “socialist”. Mussolini, however, never explained what he meant when he said that Corporatism was “the only feasible socialism”.
