Whether or not one agrees with his editorial content, we have to admit that Mr. Bennett’s artistic talent is astounding. Compared to all the caricatures of Mr. Perry that have been published in the last few days, this is almost like a photograph.
Legal commentators have almost universally found the charges against Governor Perry to be without merit. A good analysis of why can be found here:-http://patterico.com/2014/08/16/jonathan-chait-is-correct-this-indictment-of-rick-perry-is-unbelievably-ridiculous-with-bonus-detailed-legal-analysis/
Y’know…I think there is one thing the Conservative Repubs and the Liberal Dems can agree on here. And that is this: There is something seriously wrong with our electoral system if you have to start campaigning for the presidency before the midterms even happen if you hope to have any chance of winning.
Everybody does realize that the prosecutor in this case is a Republican appointee, right? There wasn’t a single Democrat involved in the investigation and indictment. A Republican judge, appointed by Rick Perry, appointed another Republican judge to handle Perry’s corruption case. San Antonio attorney Michael McCrum was named as special prosecutor. McCrum was a U.S. prosecutor under George H.W. Bush and was submitted for U.S. attorney by Sen. John Cornyn. And Perry was indicted by a randomly selected grand jury of his Texas peers. http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2014/08/19/governor-rick-perry-texas-democratic-party-editorials-debates/14296815/
Hiram Bingham said: “Probably a good idea. Think what a different world we’d be living in now if the Democrats had discredited the last idiot from Texas before he got elected.”-I will keep this quote to remind me that there are some on the left who are willing to abuse the law to help their candidates gain political power.

Yep, the only way to justify yourself or other Libs is to think you know others better than they know themselves.

The only thing necessary to “smear” Rick Perry to any voter with an IQ higher than a grape, is let him open his mouth and speak.

There was no political motivation behind it. Rick Perry broke Texas law. He got caught. The Democrats recused themselves from the case.
