For those of you in the southern climes, (and those in other provinces) that aren’t aware, these school strips are kind of surreal…..our students are being kept home in BC due to the ongoing teacher’s strike!
A couple weeks ago, Beloit College released their annual “mindset list,” and one of the things they noted was that the current crop of freshmen doesn’t understand what the big deal is about Saturday morning and cartoons. After all, there are entire channels showing cartoons round the clock, plus streaming, On Demand, and DVRs.
Dear readers I grew up in the 50’s with 3 channels local and 3 more with outside antenna and we had Cartoons !Now .check out what is now offered , DRECK and crapola !
When I was tall enough to hold the ball my parents insisted that I join the Bowling Junior League at the nearest bowling alley. It got me out of the house on Saturday morning and by the time I carried that ball back I was so tired that I had no problem taking a nap. It must have made a quiet morning for my parents.
Adventure Time ,I am sorry ,but I think you are full of “IT” . I have been watching TOONS for a very long-long time ! Yes I Know Jake and Finn But msowards the newer toons suck like the ASIAN Animie has always had !
