Irv’s right but for all the wrong reasons… I hate it when people do that and hurt our real position.

Everything “science” has predicted has proven false.

There have always been heat waves followed by drought, storms followed by floods, and tornados followed by the Red Cross. It is always worse because they had not experienced it before and it is more personal than the disasters on the news cast. Seasons change, move on and prepare for the Polar Vortex that create cold air and no snow because of the lack of moisture that created the drought.

The GOP position on global warming is absolutely consistent: there is no global warming. And if there is, we didn’t cause it. And if we did, it’s too late to fix it. And if it’s not too late, it’s too expensive.

It’s not a fraud. It’s just very, very complicated. Which puts it waaaaay beyond Irv’s comprehension. He couldn’t figure out how to finish up leaching off his kid.

Actually, these things were all predicted in the Book of Revelation some 2,000 years ago as well. But of course, that’s not “science”.

The oceans have heated very little, the polar ice is thickening, weather patterns have changed since the beginning of time, etc. There’s this thing in the sky called the sun that has profound effects on what happens here on earth. Full disclosure: I didn’t learn this on TV, I learned it in Science class.

So before climate change or global warming there was no droughts, heat waves, storms, or flooding? LIfe must have been sweet back then.

In the 70’s they feared global cooling…I’m not worried
