I prefer the tea lights. You can’t get a good even heat with the votives, and you have to place the grill too high. The toast always comes out splotchy.Is Teresa back yet?
I’m drinking at this moment (some gin on the rocks- Beefeaters) from a glass with a crackled finish which was originally meant as a votive (and I bought many and painted them with the coats of arms of many friends.
This one has my arms: a cockatoo en close on gules with a gold chevron dividing from upper field – a field of white mullets (stars) on azure.

Hold out for glazed, Grace , they’ll go through the dishwasher better once they’re empty and you start using them for cocktail glasses.
