Oops, Max has met an untimely end…

After watching that movie, I think that’s a very real possibility. The movie was that dark and sad, too.

I was never a fan of Maurice Sendak’s books (except for “Pierre”, because I identified so strongly with the protagonist….) I never saw the movie but I’m sure today’s “Lio” was much better (it was certainly better than the book!) “Lio” is always a combination of creepy and whimsey, but this one and the one with Lio being a skeleton in the shower seem to be emphasizing the creepy. I wonder if Mark kind of goes in cycles about this?

“Please don’t go. We’ll eat you up, we love you so!”

This is easily the most disturbing Lio ever. Kudos, Mark.
