Good to see capt Johnson, finally was called in , though a day late of course, to establish some order using proper techniques.
Sorry, but face masks and armor are the WRONG first step in addressing a riled up community. Good law enforcement works with, and FOR, the people, not to crush them with the dogma of right wing, aggressive mentality first.
To cite the right btw, they DO brag all the time that military and police tend to vote “conservative” or right-wing, and Republican. (GOOD cops may indeed lean conservative, but they also have that more “liberal” view of protecting and serving as well.)
Let’s see… Oh, yes, here is the relevant passage: “peaceably” has been struck out and replaced by: "the people have the “right to assemble, loot and destroy property that is not their own”. Now it’s all clear.
This stopped being about Mike Brown a week ago. At this point, blaming this mess on Ferguson is like blaming D Day on the French. Most of the cops are from out of town, and the troublemakers are from all over the country. Ferguson is a decent low to middle income town that had the misfortune to be declared a war zone.

Everyone knows the First Amendment is not so important. Only the Second Amendment (minus that pesky first phrase)

The attempts to de escalate force didn’t seem to work. Now the national guard is being called in.
