A Watergate-era trivia question: Name the White House personality who, when confronted with contradictions as to previous statements, said, “This is the operative statement. The others are inoperative”?.Or, as Ann Landers once wrote, “Why accept advice from a woman who has been divorced five times? Do you value advice from a cook who usually burns the food?”
What never fails to make me laugh is that the Righties somehow have the perception of Dick Cheney as a tough guy. He’s not, he’s a total, sniveling coward. F’rinstance, he won’t answer questions from anyone but a friendly interviewer like Sean Hannity. Contrast that with Ronald Reagan. No one was tougher on him than Sam Donaldson, but during his press conferences, Reagan never failed to call on Donaldson, and sometimes would even give him the first question

And you, apparently are among the first to trip. You need to start getting news from news sources, not conspiracy sites.
