A couple of years ago, The Stanleys started a little business….giving wagon rides to recognise the “Best Person” of the day.In 2012, they offered the Monkey a ride, to celebrate his birthday AND his election as Ballard County Sheriff the same day!

A few of us decided the Monkey wouldn’t like it…but then I found out it was actually one of his secret hopes….except, you see… he’s not person.So I negotiated with the Stanleys…and Monkey…today the wagon is yours for the day!(Whenever you don’t prefer speeding through the trees, of course.)

All you folks stay up WAY too late for me and then this morning I had to do things in the yard before breakfast. But I’m done with that and my tea, and joining the party with my Guinness dark lager (yummy). I posted what I prepared yesterday a while ago (and misspelled “and” but that’s not worth fixing). I’ve now checked out all the fun – LOVE that new lettering that X_tech posted. I’d love to learn, but Stel just told me the newer code so I can have color in my text (besides what a pasted into the card after rotating it That was done in Irfanview, which is a snap) and I colored the plate for the cake and pasted that in (and touched up the palms), but actual PROGRAMMING… HAPPY BIRTHDAYSHERIFF MUNKYI’m surprised that nobody played Yabba Dabba, or even Animal Fair (both are fun for a party.

I’d just like to take this opportunity to point out that I don’t always wear the cow costume. The chicken one in the Real Estate ad that Mel thought we should do in honor of the Sheriff’s birthday is a particular favorite. I’ve been known to do a mean limbo while wearing that!

And, just one more thing: I donated my cowbell collection to the Ballard Dairy and Silk Scarves Store. The “girls” are quite happy about it, too!
