I can understand the public skepticism..And I hope you’re right, really, although it goes against everything I’ve read about hemorrhagic diseases for the last 30 years. But ah, don’t underestimate the power of the government public relations machine: .An avuncular government health expert: "Naw, Ebola just stings somewhat when it turns your insides to bloody slush. And it is considered a slight social faux pas to spew black organic slough from your orifices onto doctors and nurses. So if you do exhibit symptoms of this sort, wear suitable medical masks. (NOTE TO AD AGENCY: Here play soothing Muzak and show comforting scenes of laughing people at play.).“And it might be a slight inconvenience when the virus takes residence in some unknown animal repository, to periodically re-ignite epidemics. It will be somewhat expensive but you know we can be sure Congress will quickly approve the money for biocontainment rooms as needed.. “With the help of major pharmaceutical companies, we’re working on a cure for Ebola. So don’t panic — and do keep shopping and spending money, like good little consumers.”.“So move along, nothing to see here … say, aren’t those some more wicked Terrorists on the other side of the Earth?”

Cosmic rays also affect chromosomes, although the changes are mostly not useful, even deadly.

When every cartoon created by a cartoonist is grossly negative, what does that say about that cartoonist? I’d suggest that something is terribly wrong with that person.
