Oh, geeze! I remember that movie…scared me half to death because I was so young at the time! It was “The Creature From The Black Lagoon…” Rover, you are one Brave dog! ;)

listmom: I remember her well. But I had to look it up for my wife (only 4.5 years younger). It would be banned today – even fairies cannot be top free in this prudish society, but I also remember the occasional variation with that white fabric coming over her shoulder and hanging down in front. One must remember that when this trademark was designed, the concept of bathing suits was just 50 or 60 years old, so people were more broad-minded concerning art deco and the attire of mythical creatures.
