I’m sure that Ginger’s right by saying that his name (either in full or just his first name) is very commonly yelled out by his parents, usually after getting into some trouble! There are plenty of strips in the GoComics archives to back that one up. :)

I wonder what was Ginger’s first word… make that speech balloon back when he debuted in 1921 and written/illustrated by Jimmy Bancks.
