Joadtom aka no Steinbeck, your conservative grapes of wrath seem unable to cite one specific crime that justifies this nefarious lawsuit. Rather than govern the GOP showboats.

Joadtom: So, the President bent over backwards to appease those who hate their own law (yes, except for the rich-guy tax, it’s all Republican), hacking off bits and pieces to make them happy … and they’re furious. Imagine if he’d simply fully, immediately, executed the law. But they’d probably sue him for that, too.

If only we had a Democratic-wing-of-the-Party Democrat.

Talk about hypocrisy! The House uses every legal maneuver and parliamentary trick in the book to get what they want and they cry about the President using the executive powers available to him to try to accomplish something. They may not like what he is doing but it certainly is better than what the do nothing Congress is accomplishing. They will be on vacation for the next five weeks but I expect no one will notice.

Bull. Sarah Palin, Steve Stockman, Darrell Issa, Michelle Bachmann, and a dozen other Republican stalwarts have been yelling “impeach impeach impeach” for years. Now they turn around and claim that all the impeachment talk is the work of Democrats. Republicans have no honesty and no shame.

“The only reason that the GOTP hates ACA is because it came from a Democratic president.”.A Republican president would never try to pass something as reckless as the ACA. The press would be calling them irresponsible for such a massive and unwieldy behemoth of a government program during a recession.

I understand your point, but I have questions. I believe Mr. Obama realized that not every part of this bill was perfect, and that forcing it to roll out exactly as written would cause more pain than intended. The right answer would be to work with Congress to change the law to make it better. If Congress’ only alternative is to vote to repeal rather than to debate, discuss, and modify (or replace)—-which you must admit Congress is unwilling to even consider doing—what was the President’s alternative?

And can Congress really prove it was harmed? Please. (Of course, I understand that we have a legal system and not a justice system, so anything can fly….like Citizens United. But if we had a justice system, I cannot imagine that congress can prove harm, and even if it can, it would be hard to separate the harm caused by the president from the harm they caused all by themselves.)

They’re suing the president for delaying the employer mandate. The Treasury Department has the authority to set timing for implementation of tax law. SCOTUS says the ACA is a tax. So, Obama, as the head of the executive branch that includes Treasury, announced a schedule change in implementation of a tax law.

The ACA is very different from the Heritage Foundation’s proposal:-http://www.lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com/2013/12/the-aca-v-the-heritage-plan-a-comparison-in-chart-form-The fact is that Republicans had real and legitimate objections to the ACA – many of which have been borne out by reality. If the President were interested in following our constitutional procedure he would attempt to work with Congress to modify the law, and if they were unwilling to do so his remedy would be to appeal to the public and attempt to pressure Congress with a groundswell of public opinion. His unilateral executive action exceeds his constitutional authority and I would hope that sincere member of the left would drop their partisan defense of the President and instead encourage him to act responsibly.

“The only actual Losers undeer the ACA are the Hospital Emergency rooms which customarily charge Uninsured people Twice as much for hte Same Treatment as they charge people With Insurance.”I had to go to the local emergency room of a for profit hospital 2 1/2 years ago. They had originally messed up my insurance information and billed me as if I were uninsured. It included an “uninsured discount” that lowered the overall bill to roughly what they billed my insurance company after I fixed the mix up with their billing department.

Blessed are they who run around in circles, for they shall be known as “wheels”. Blessed are they who spin positions so fast, when proven stupid, like tops, for they shall be known as “Republicans in Congress”.

The funny thing is that the only idiot politicians whipping up the impeachment talk is the democrat a$$hats that are in office. Never let a good crisis go to waste after all, we can fund raise and get all sorts of cash out of this manufactured crisis! Whats REALLY happening is they are suing the president for overreaching his executive authority. That’s the real story libtards, but then again, that’s somewhat advanced thinking for you guys, so you probably won’t catch on.

I wouldn’t mind that the congress is doing absolutely nothing, creating a situation where the president has to do whatever he can using presidential orders. That’s pretty much standard procedure, stupid but standard. I wouldn’t even mind that they are suing him for doing it less often that either of the Bush’s. But when they indulge in this insanity using tax payer money, and there is going to be gobs of it involved, I’m voting from out and donating money and work to the Democrats every chance I get. Vote Democratic- We’re not Perfect, but they’re nuts.
