Good morning Vagabonds. The cool weather continues until Sunday when it is supposed to be 80 to 83. After I got up yesterday morning, the heat came on. I couldn’t believe it, it’s the middle of September.

Good morning, Vagabonds. I’m halfway through reading my b ook on Russian history by George Verdinasky. I’m up to the 18th century but haven’t yet reached the part about Catherine the Great.

    Morning, Vagabonds.

That sounds interesting, Arye. Sadly, Russian history is a neglected subject here in the US. We learned about Ivan the Terrible and Peter the Great, but that’s about it.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Clear skies, sunny and headed for low 100’s here in LV. Still cool enough right now (8AM) to leave the windows open for the fresh air.

Yesterday I made a coconut cake for my Tuesday fellowship group. I only had 9" layer pans, so the 3 layers came out about 1/2 inch thick. I made a second cake using only two layers, and now I have a tower of coconut to serve the ladies. The only problem is I’m not sure how I’m going to transport it to Cecelia’s house…..
