Poor Wolfie ….. never felt a thing!

EXACTLY my reaction to needles………

Delayed reaction? I would have thought he’d faint just after seeing the needle, not after being poked with it.

SHE is taking my poor kitty to the Vet to be shaved Tuesday. They had better hit him with a needle and make him Flump because no self respecting male cat is going to let himself look like Fleshy in Monte. Matter of fact, they better hit me with a needle cause I’m going to go Flump when I see him.

Took my cat to the Vet for the first time, and he got his first shot. Needle in needle out, he sat there several seconds like he was thinking about it, them he let out a loud MEOOOOOW. Poor old Fluffy (AKA the Fluff Stuff) survived, and lived to be 14 or 15.

I had a male cat (size extra large) that fainted when you gave him a bath. This was in Key West where fleas were a year round problem and he was allergic to flea collars so a bath was one of the only solutions. I’d plop him in the tub and if I moved fast I could get him soaped up and rinsed off before he came to and shredded my arm.

Can hear the gossip around the water hole now – Wolfie? The once great hunter? Naw. Can’t believe it. Wofie? Funny.

@ GORG: Fainting on sight of… comes next time now that he understands the concept!

I thought he fainted because he got a good look at Cute Chick’s behind, but I guess it’s just awkward timing.

I think Wolfie had an allergy to the medications the nurse (blonde chick) gave him the shot. That was how Wolfie flumped and fainted. Hilarious funny!

After I got my last flu shot the nurse asked “now that didn’t hurt did it?” She seemed a little put off when I told her “Of course it hurt. You just pushed a needle into my arm.” Duh!

Some nurses are butchers with a needle, particularly when drawing blood. The real good ones have already done it while you’re sitting there thinking, “OK, any time you’re ready”.

Wolfie, no one said, “Play dead.”
