Opal should take a nap. That would get Earl off the couch, especially at meal time! He needs a hobby–or at least help her with the chores..lol

Nah, Opal should pinch Earl’s butt with her finger and thumb. Earl would be a jumpy.

How can Earl sleep with the newspaper covering his face? I don’t like the smell of newspaper while I sleep. YUK!

Joe, I know you have a great memory. What date did the strip run where you saw that happen? I assumed Opal let the neighbour into the house.
