That is why the standard progressive complaint of tax cuts for the rich is so ludicrous. How can you have a tax cut for someone who does not pay a penny in taxes. By definition all tax cuts have to be for the “rich”.

^In 2008 business contributions to Obama were significantly larger than those to McCain. They thought Obama was going to win and wanted access. Obviously they got it. The banks were singularly large Democratic contributors. As usual the unions/trial lawyers gave >90% to the Democrats.
@Peetey How bout Rupert Murdoch, Billy Tauzin, and T. Boone Pickins and everyone else in corporate America for the Republican counterpart? And last I checked Gates was a Republican since he embraces monopolies.
