Why do people portray Christians this way? I have never had anyone come to my door looking mad and telling me about Christ. Not saying it couldn’t happen but….
Can’t speak for all of them, but when I spent two years wearing a black name tag, a simple “no thanks” was enough to send us to the next house. Besides, since the late 80s we’ve been trying to phase out the door-to-door approach, making it more of a last resort when the local congregation can’t (or won’t) keep them busy elsewhere.

I turn them away myself. I already believe and don’t need strangers trying to preach it to me.

“We gave at church. You should go to one sometime.” followed by a quickly closed door usually works.

Yes, I know who my savior is. It’s the slamming of the door in your face.
