    I worked in restaurants for years waiting tables and tending bar before and while going to college. For most table people, this isn’t humor, it’s reality. It’s often greedy and rude behavior on the part of the table people, but many patrons linger at their table much longer than they should and need to be encouraged to leave. This often results in no tip being left, but slow turnover of tables also hurts income.

    And this guy should throw the food in the waiters face. Then, he should leave in a huff. If that’s too soon. He should leave in a minute and huff. Groucho Marx. But, I can’t remember what movie this is from. I’m sure that my fellow bloggers can help.

    If I’m paying $8-$15 I might be rushed..A lot of places here in the bay area charge $20-$30 a plate..For that I shall linger,tip 15-18%, and stay as long as I please!
