Once again, all kinds of criticism, zero ideas on how to handle the problem. Just think about what it would take to have to send your kids a thousand miles on a very dangerous trip to reach a safe haven. These are desperate refugees and dumping them all in a truck and delivering them back to their home country probably is not a very humane or practical solution. I do sympathize with the boarder states that bear the brunt of the problem. A bunch of morons with AK-47s blocking buses on a public highway is unlawful mob action at best.

Is this where we invade more countries to bring truth, justice and the American way as they cannot help themselves?

I like how the smugglers promise to get the children to wherever they’re supposed to go, then drop them in a border town and call authorities, presumably to finish the trip.

Perhaps we should send them on to Canada.

I keep hearing liberals remind us of how their ancestors came through Ellis Island to this land seeking freedom and how sending illegals back would not be part of the American spirit. First, families who made it through Ellis Island came here legally. Second, as a sovereign country, Ellis Island was also known as Heartbreak Island to some because many had to be turned back due to diseases or other circumstances no matter how many miles they had to travel to get here. I’ve never hear the libs talk about that basic fact. Can’t have it both ways.
