At least bat the squirrel around a bit. Play with your food if you’re not going to eat it!

Considering squirrels are carriers of rabies, batting it would probably be a bad idea.

There is a legend that when Jesus was born, the mother cat, understanding how difficult it can be to feed a family, brought a mouse to the manger. Mary laughed, and scratched the cat between the ears, which is why many cats carry an “M” on their foreheads. Not a grain of truth, but a nice story.

Your presentation is wrong, kitties. You’re supposed to remove the head and arrange the rest nicely butterflied on the doormat.

that’s sweet. the kitties are helping care for Doug. Not only have they provided him with food, but food he can bat and play. .Squirrel is not having a good day… mom is going to find him and then out comes the broom. After snatching up Doug. Moms do that.

Okay……. with these two you can’t be sure if squirrel is the intended meal for Doug…….. or the other way around.
