None of you seem to want to place any of the blame on the shoulders of the current Prez. Why is that? Politics? Do you not think he could bear the pressure? What’s up here?

Our screwups in Viet Nam began back before WW II actually, when Chenault went into Indochina with the Flying Tigers, granted, to keep the Japanese from taking over the French colony with resources we wanted.

Iraq was, and remains, solely the responsibility of the Bush family and their cohorts, like Rumsfeld and his “vulcans”, period.

Why would we blame Obama for any of this; all he did was televise a pull out date so our enemies could set their calendars, set an example of not supporting our allies, allow other nations to ignore everything we say without consequence, cut off support for any key allies in the Middle Ease, and my personal favorite of reinstating the Carter policy of terrorist negotiating.

Let’s blame Bush, that makes liberals feel better.

I can’t believe that liberals are still blaming Bush for all the worlds problems… Wonder how long they can push it – maybe Hilary can cry Bush too.

Love Bush or Hate Bush at least he would man up and take responsibility. Didn’t blame Clinton, did whine constantly, he took responsibility and did what he honestly believed was best.

Bush made some mistakes, but at least he did what he thought was best, not what poles told him to do. A lot to be said for a man that tries to do what is right even when he will lose political capital over it – like the surge.
