Back in the thirties, the name Redskin was not considered pejorative. In fact, back then you could have had The Texas Wetbacks or the New Orleans Niggers and not been criticized. It was a very different world then.

Don’t blame the messenger. If the Redskins management had any sense, they’d just change the name to the Warriors, which is less objectionable. We don’t have sports teams called the Kikes, Wops and Dagos (or even the Honkeys), so Redskins should be gone too.
