This is way too judgmental. With all the stress we have in this world I can understand how some parents make this terrible and horrific mistake. I would hate to be one of those parents that had to live with this the rest of their lives. Empathy……not condemnation!

It seems to happen mostly in the summer. I haven’t heard of any kids freezing in a car.

Last three posts: I totally agree!!! Stupidity IS a crime. And as a friend of mine says; “They get caught EVERY time they go to a casino.”

This happens way too much. We need to bring awareness wherever we can – even in a comic. Good job!

I am sorry to see so many judgmental comments here. I’m in my mid-sixties and I’ve learned a few things over the years. People make mistakes, tragedies happen, and but for God’s Grace my life could have turned out so very different . It’s a rat race out there for young couples……financial problems, work issues, family matters, hectic schedules, balancing an overwhelming number of obstacles, and just trying to survive keeping things together. We ALL make mistakes….every last one of us. I like to think that no one would leave a child in a car unintentionally. A lapse in judgement that leads to having to deal with such a tragedy for the remainder of one’s life is truly sad for all involved. The rest of us should show sympathy, support, forgiveness, and understanding ……unless you are perfect and have never made a mistake. I’ll get off my soapbox now. Thank you very much!

Egrayj and Ralph Fisher, SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR CHILDREN??!! LEAVE THEM ALONE IN A CAR? No matter the reason, unless they are safer where they are at the moment, for whatever reason, IT IS WRONG, PERIOD! THAT IS JUST WRONG! Yes, people make mistakes and things happen. And leaving pets in a hot car in the summer, I don’t know. People just DON’T THINK! Not saying I am brilliant, but MY PEOPLE AND PETS COME FIRST! I at least TRY TO THINK!
