Well in the intro box it says a cure for the toxic air falls into the wrong hands, so I’m thinking that is what the Prof is making. Hence not wearing the air hose thingy. (what is the name of that thing anyway?)
Sorry. I gave it a shot, but I’m not interested. Nothing on the first strip to grab the reader’s attention, usual Paige Braddock style of looking like a black-and-white doodle in her class notes, no visible plot, the only interesting thing is the hovercar. You MAY have an eventual plot, but at least Jane’s World has semi-believable characters (even if they are trailer trash). PASS.
I am looking forward to this strip it caught me interest from the start and promises to be entertaining. The synopsis of the premise of the storyline looks great. I am a fan of Paige’s work. I like sci if and this should be fun.
It’s too slow for me. I went away and came back and read 3-days but still too slow. I guess I’ll try 5 days or maybe a week at a time and see how it goes. Does seem worth sticking with for a while though.
You’d be taller also on Mars. Spending time at lower gravity lengthens your spinal column. International Space Station occupants return to Earth a couple of inches taller — for awhile.
