Yep, It’s getting to be near election time. We will all be tortured by months of mindless prattle and chewing gum philosophy.
Well, Maryland had their Primary elections yesterday, so we get a short break before they all start in on the next go-round. Oh, 24 hours, maybe.
I DO like the British method – six weeks and you’re done.
Our incumbent senator started campaigning a year ago. Soon it will be 24×7×365 for at least two years prior to any election. Which means congressmen won’t do anything except campaign – hey wait! This could be a good thing!
I’d believe the election year hypothesis if the torturer were replacing the “Torture Chamber” sign with the “Rehabilitation Facility” sign.
