Um, no. It’s on the Iraqi’s themselves. We spent ten years “stabilizing” the country after George W destroyed its government. Turns out, governments do useful things. Who knew? Their new government, after refusing to let American troops stay, started discriminating rather blatantly against Sunnis. Now they’re paying the cost. I don’t see how we can, or should get involved. True, if we go over there, they’ll make peace with each other; but only so they can all attack our soldiers for invading.
Yesterday & today, it’s all over the news here in New England. The entire Bush clan gathered in Dad’s estate in Kennebunkport ME, as Bush the Elder, now 90, did another parachute jump. My first question is, who paid for the military personnel who assisted him?Bush the Elder has ALWAYS claimed Houston Texas as his primary residence (There is no income tax in Texas), yet he always seems to be up here! Maine challenged him on this years ago, but it was somehow dropped. As this extended family parties out on the small peninsula where his mansion sits, I wonder if even ONE of them reflects on how many lives were lost, or destroyed, by their greed?
Excuse me, but not only did President Obama NOT say what you just made up, but he stated on national TV that just because Bin Laden was dead, Al Qaeda activities will continue, and be dealt with on every occasion. You seem to believe whatever your inner child wants to believe
My National Guard nephew said it best: they never got along before our “intervention” and they will never get along once we leave. Time to wash our hands of the entire mess in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He broke it, and we’re still “buying it”, at least paying for it.

George should hang that painting right beside the selfie of him in his flight suit in front of the “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED” banner.

Iraq is vaguely reminiscent of Viet Nam. It won’t be long before we are evacuating the embassy.

George’s masterpiece is easily the stupidest, most foolhardy foreign policy piece of work in recent history.

Some people just didn’t get the memo. Bush left the building over five years ago. This is Obama’s to own now.

Last chance for “righties” to look at a reality check and admit it: YES, BUSH DID IT!

You’re right. Sometimes I get caught up with a few.
