@ BevYou think you are going to be a pushover? When our oldest granddaughter was 12 we took her clothes shopping for school. $550 later….we went to 4 shoe stores before she made up her mind. And had to have a certain kind of backpack on wheels that cost $164! Her mom just laughed, and said that is why she was glad* we* took her!

Westerns and Race Car movies is the reason my husband has his own tv in his office! Gunsmoke every afternoon? Sheesh

He really wants to watch that program about wolves on “Discovery Channel”.

Rusty and Walter don’t watch many dog movies any more….They won’t admit it, but it’s because they’re embarrassed.

They both cried during “The Incredible Journey”…and after “My Dog Skip”, they came to the Tiki and got drunk.

Speaking of drinking to recover, we just got some new beer just for that purpose:

Thanks Susan, but I thought I might try a beer from this end of Ballard. Besides it’s really cheap.

Hard to see in that photo…but on some of their literature the dog reminds me of Fenton…though he’s a bulldog and Fenton is a boxer.

And of course I can’t say it when Fenton is around, cos a get the whole lecture on bully breeds.

He’s not here on Thursday nights, though.

Good morning to you too.First wave of deployment to the Rio Grande Valley starts Sunday. I did get passed over for that one which is okay by me. My Captain wants me to go when he goes in about six weeks.

@Veteran, Am I to understand that Texas is also making a move at closing its borders too (in spite of help from Feds)?

Too bad it’s necessary; we have laws and some chose to follow or uphold them VERY selectively.
